Redcliffe & Northside Rheumatology triage new patient referrals before offering an appointment. Please ensure that you have a valid referral from your doctor forwarded to us. You will need to ring the practice approximately 48 hours after forwarding your referral to enable a suitable appointment time to be arranged.
There are a few things you should know before coming to visit us. Check out our handy checklist below to make sure you’re all ready for your appointment:
- Please be on time. We pride ourselves on being punctual but this only works if our patients arrive on time as well.
- Please report to one of our friendly reception staff so that we can advise the doctor of your arrival.
- Please note if changing or cancelling appointments, you are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Please advise of any change of personal details or change of current GP.
If an appointment is missed or cancelled within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time a cancellation fee of $50.00 may be implemented.
Our aim is not to collect missed appointment fees, but to open up otherwise booked appointments for patients requiring urgent assistance. This enables timely appointments to be provided for new and ongoing patients. Should a cancellation fee be issued, payment of this account will be required prior to further appointments being scheduled.
Your respect as the policy is implemented is requested.
